Congratulations to the varsity swim & dive team, especially the 14 seniors, who celebrated senior day with a huge 99-51 over Dracut. In the process, they upped their season record to 5-4. Senior captain Lauren Barry had two big wins in the 200 & 500 freestyle, while fellow senior captain Hannah McKenna won diving and senior Kirsten Davidson won the 200 IM and placed second in the 100 butterfly. Kirsten’s younger sister Kara won the 100 breaststroke. For Tewksbury, senior Sydney Menard was victorious in the 100 backstroke. Senior Emalee Toohey picked up a pair of second place finishes, while Matt Blanco, Ava Facella, Mildred Reyes, and Kyra Donahue each had one. The Red Rangers also took first place in all three relays, with the girls qualifying their 200 medley relay for states. Awesome job & good luck on Thursday night when they travel to Holy Cross to face NDA Worcester.
